Trabalhei como editor do fotolivro Huellas da artista Ana Luisa Fayet Sallas, juntamente com fotógrafo e editor Felipe Abreu de 2018 até 2019. O processo de edição começou comigo e a artista olhando diversas folhas de contato com imagens feitas em 35 mm, tanto colorido quando preto e branco. Escolhemos algumas centenas de imagens e imprimimos para ter mais visualização da narrativa e dar sequência ao processo de edição.

Após o trabalho de seleção, as imagens foram impressas e foram semanas de trabalho com as fotos espalhadas pelo chão. Discutimos, editamos, colocamos as imagens na parede, olhamos por um mês, fizemos alguns bonecos, editamos de novo, alteramos a sequência, fizemos outro boneco.
Não foi um processo rápido e tão pouco fácil, aprendemos muitas coisas juntos nessa troca entre edição e autoria mas posso afirmar com certeza que a parte da edição é uma das funções mais incríveis e bonitas na criação de um fotolivro.

After the selection work, the images were printed and it was weeks of work with the photos scattered on the floor. We discussed, edited, put the images on the wall, looked for a month, made some dolls, edited again, changed the sequence, made another doll.
It was not a quick process and not at all easy, we learned many things together in this exchange between editing and authoring but I can say with certainty that the editing part is one of the most amazing and beautiful functions in the creation of a photobook.
